Q&A

General

Q: What's the difference between a social fraternity and a professional one?
A:
Both social and professional fraternities provide you with a "family" during your college experience, but professional fraternities bring in the social aspect and also help you focus on your professional development.

Q: If I join social fraternity/sorority, can I still join Deltasig?
A:
Of course!

Rush

Q: Can anyone Rush to become a Deltasig?
A:Anyone who is a business major may rush.

Q: Do I have to attend all rush week events?
A: No, we understand if you have prior engagements. We just ask that you let us know that you can't make it to a certain event.

Q: If I rush will I be guaranteed to get into the fraternity?
A: Although we don't have a cap on how many bids we give out, unfortunately, we can not accept everyone since we generally have a lot of people rush.

Q: If I don't get a bid, can I rush again?
A: We encourage those who are interested in being a part of our fraternity to rush as often as possible to learn more about the Brotherhood and to show us your continued interest by meeting and forming relationships with us.

Pledging

Q: How long is Pledge semester?
A: Plege semester is generally 8 weeks long.

Q: What is Deltasig's hazing policy?
A: We are strongly against acts of hazing.

Q: What's the point of pledge semester?
A:
Pledge semester is a time where you get to learn about the fraternity and what it really means to be a Deltasig. You also get to know all active memebers better and be apart of our events.
